Recommended Usage Rate: In Cosmetics: General Usage Rate: 1% to 10%, depending on the product type and desired texture. Specific Guidelines: Lip Balms & Lipsticks: 5% to 10% for structure, gloss, and a smooth application. Creams & Lotions: 1% to 3% to act as a thickener and stabilizer. Balms & Salves: 3% to 8% for body and firmness. Solid Deodorants: 3% to 6% to help achieve firmness without a greasy feel. In Candles: General Usage Rate: 1% to 5%, depending on the hardness and structure required. Specific Guidelines: Container Candles: 1% to 3% to improve the hardness of softer waxes (e.g., soy wax). Pillar Candles: 3% to 5% to provide additional rigidity and shape retention. Votive & Tealight Candles: 1% to 4%, depending on the desired melt and burn characteristics.

Formulation Guide: For Cosmetics:
-Melting Point: Sunflower wax melts at approximately 74-80°C. It should be melted and incorporated into the oil phase of a formulation.
-Blending with Other Waxes: It can be combined with other plant-based or mineral waxes (e.g., candelilla, carnauba, or beeswax) to achieve different textures and melting points.
-Incorporation: Add to the oil phase during the heating process to ensure it fully melts and integrates into the formulation.


For Candles:
-Melting and Blending: Melt sunflower wax along with other waxes (e.g., soy wax) at temperatures around 70-80°C. Stir to ensure uniform consistency before pouring.

Additional Tips:
-Testing: Always perform small-scale tests to adjust the formulation depending on your desired outcome (e.g., firmness, gloss, burn time)

Shelf Life: 3 Years

Storage Guidelines: Store in air-tight non-reactive containers or in a cover with no exposure to air. Keep in a dry and cool place.
