Dimethicone in its simplest form is polydimethylsiloxane, also known as silicone oil, but more commonly called dimethicone. Dimethicone Fluid is a 100% active linear silicone polymer. Usually, linear silicones are large high-molecular polymers (polydimethylsiloxanes) and are viscous and more oil-like.

Formulation Guide, Usage & Handling

Recommended Usage Rate: 1-50%, add to oil phase of formulas or at the end of the formulation. Do not heat over 50°C

Formulation Guide: -Add to the oil phase of formulas by stirring continuously.
-Do not heat over 50°C/125°F.
-It can be mixed into emulsions after the temperature reaches 50°C/125°F.

Shelf Life: 2 Years

Storage Guidelines: Store in the same container as received in a cool, dry place; away from sunlight.

Caution: This is a cosmetic-grade product. Not suitable for internal consumption. This product is not recommended for direct skin application. It needs to be added to formulations in the prescribed percentage (as above). Batch Production Testing and Patch skin Testing of the end products are recommended for all formulations before mass production/application/usage.

Features: -It works by forming a layer over the skin or hair and does not penetrate it.
-It works by acting as an emulsifier and keeps the product from separating.

Benefits: -Used for its low viscosity in various liquid, low-viscous skin and hair care products.
-Will take out the whitening of creams and lotions when rubbed into the skin.
-Gives a non-greasy, dry feel.
-Improves wet and dry combing and gives softness and a silky gloss to the hair.
-Makes colours more dispersible (acts as a solvent).
