Colourants can be added to glazes to get the desired coloured effects. Unlike stains, colourants react differently in each firing. A wide spectrum of colours can be achieved by mixing them with other colourants, opacifiers & stains.

Recommended Usage:
- 0.5- 2% in slips
- 0.25 - 2% in glazes
Output Colour: Shades of green. If mixed in the proper proportions with zinc or lead, intense browns and orange can be achieved.

Additional Information: Chrome oxide is also used in paints, inks and glasses.
