Recommended Usage Rate: 3%-25% in Cosmetic Formulations.

Formulation Guide: To be dispersed into the oil phase of formulation. Usually combined with organic sunscreens, typical use level 3-6% when combined with organic sunscreens, use level when given alone 3-25%.

Shelf Life: 2 Years

Storage Guidelines: Store in an air-tight glass container in a cool, dry place at room temperature.

Caution: This is a cosmetic-grade product. Not suitable for internal consumption. This product is not recommended for direct skin application. It needs to be added to formulations in the prescribed percentage (as above). Batch Production Testing and Patch skin Testing of the end products are recommended for all formulations before mass production/application/usage.

-Coated zinc oxide is more compatible with acrylate-based thickeners (e.g. carbomer) than non-coated zinc oxide, because it has alkaline properties in formulations and needs therefore less or no neutralizers like TEA or NaOH.
