Olivem 1000 is a versatile cosmetic grade emulsifier ideal for creating a luxurious texture in lotions, creams, and other skin care products. It is a non-ionic emulsifier with superior stability and provides a gentle, protective barrier for conditioning skin.

    Form: Wax, doesn't need co-emulsifier

    Specifications:

    -Solubility: Soluble in oils and fats. Dispersible in water when used in emulsions. Insoluble in water on its own.
    -Appearance: White to off-white waxy solid in flake or pellet form.
    -pH (1% solution): 5-7
    -Melting Point: 65-75°C
    -HLB Value: Around 9-10, suitable for oil-in-water emulsions

    Recommended Usage Rate: Typically used at 2-8% concentration in cosmetic formulations.

    Formulation Guide: -Heat Phase: Olivem 1000 should be melted in the oil phase and heated to 70-75°C.
    -Emulsification: Combine the oil phase with the water phase and blend to create a stable emulsion.
    -Cooling Phase: Cool down slowly while mixing to ensure emulsion stability.

    Shelf Life: 2 Years

    Storage Guidelines: -Temperature: Store at a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ideal storage temperature is below 25°C.
    -Packaging: Keep in tightly sealed, original packaging to protect from moisture and contamination.
    -Avoid Humidity Exposure: Exposure to high humidity can affect the texture and performance of Olivem 1000.

    Storing Olivem 1000 in a stable, dry environment helps maintain its effectiveness, ensuring it performs optimally in formulations.






    Caution: -Temperature Sensitivity: Requires specific heating conditions for optimal performance (usually around 70-75°C) to form a stable emulsion; overheating can affect emulsion stability.
    -Concentration Limits: Should be used within the recommended concentration range (2-8%) to avoid destabilizing the formulation.
    -pH Compatibility: Ideal for formulations with a final pH range of 5-7. Outside this range, the stability and texture of the emulsion might be compromised.
    -Not Ideal for Water-Free Formulas: Since it’s designed to emulsify oil and water phases, it’s not effective in water-free formulations.
    -Patch test is recommended for all formulations containing olivem 1000.

    -Haircare: Conditioners and hair masks.
    -Suncare: Sun creams and after-sun products.
    -Makeup: Foundations, BB creams, and tinted moisturizers.
