Recommended Usage Rate: 0.6–1% in cosmetic formulations

Formulation Guide: Include Geogard ECT in the cool down phase of your formulations, and ensure the final pH of the formulation is the in 3–8 range. Over time benzyl alcohol oxidises to benzaldehdye resulting in an almond-like odour. Geogard ECT contains salicylic acid already. Thereby formulations containing salicylic acid need to be adjusted accordingly. Geogard ECT is also known to reduce the pH of formulations. The same needs to be considered while formulating.

Shelf Life: 2 Years

Storage Guidelines: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.

Caution: Harmful if swallowed. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. Recommended to be used only by certified skincare formulators. Please refer the safety documents before usage.
